there is a boss that SHOOTS LASERS FROM ITS EYES! also i like the typography at the end why didn't you use this in your splash image?

i'm obviously not skilled enough ;)

ok it looks like star fox - and plays a bit like it - collision boxes are weird so its not possible to progress past a certain point in the game. However a reasonable attempt. Video?

ok so there is definitely a playable game that is a rail shooter - well done. Visually i really liked what you've tried to do here overall. Game play wise its effectively 'dodge mines' which tbf isn't terrible however more variety of gameplay would have been good. The camera position makes aiming hard though the speed of the green pew pew is ... satisfying. The lack of neon explosions is sad. Its not entirely clear how far you are through the level and gameplay is uniformly 'difficult' rather than following the normal path of 'it gets harder, then a bit easier, then harder and so on'. The music employed is excellent in terms of fitting the visual aesthetic - if there had been further development of the audio scape for this game that would have been extremely interesting.

Technically a side scroller (rather than a rail shooter - the 'evolved state' of a scroller), so not much like starfox 1993. However if considered as a side scroller this is definitely a playable game though it seems like something that could have been achieved with a smaller team in a shorter length of time than on paper 12 people in 2 weeks?

Nice looking space ship.

Not really much like starfox (1993) due to not being a rail shooter. Seems incomplete in that there are no opponents to fight, scoring or method to 'win'. No escape functionality? If considered as a free flight type game (like x wing) then the core controls are in there (pitch, roll, yaw) however other than firing (that does emit kind of cool looking laser blobs but functionally does nothing mechanically) there seems to be little in the way of game play.  Asteroids look ok.

video?

er what is this mess of files?

There is a really good core idea here. I think you might want to consider developing it further, probably as a web game initially but eventually on a mobile platform.

does what it needs to do. TBF i could totally play a potion makers shop Incremental game. There seem to be some odd choices here, logically making a potion should reduce gold (because of needing ingredients) and selling it should raise gold but reduce the number of potions. In the game as it is i can only assume that gold is some sort of waste by product of making the potion? Sound would have been nice. It does work in browser which is good!

A really nice idea - could do with sound and it looks like blacksmith's are bugged atm

Actually i can completely see this working as a phone game or a sort of marble run/lemmings pc game. The physics element is interesting and could be leveraged in various ways, for example allowing the player to buy 'things' to place in the space - auto box orderers, auto clickers and so on... I think you are on to something there.

So firstly good job on getting this working in webgl mode (in the browser). I also like that you have basically built every dice rolling game for under 5's ;)

how is it 135mb?

try using a screen capture utility!

i think there is a screen capture utility available through apps anywhere rather than pointing a camera at a screen ;)

video?

video?

needs a video

At its core this is probably something that you could create a releasable game from. It entertained me.

its a shame that some of the art was not consistent in style this was a bit jarring. It certainly didn't hold the players hand. I liked the hay bails in the background feature, more things like this that communicate information would have been good.

needs the team members added as contributors in itch

the video for this entertained me greatly "and this guy in spirit", "we did not procrastinate at alllll"

needs other developers added as contributors and video

So first off - first. Well done for making this run in a browser. It would be good to know how many auto clickers when in operation at any one time and likewise the level of click upgrade. Generally most upgrades in other games become more expensive as they are upgraded? The sheep progression amused me.

So congratulations on being first to submit - the record was 12 hours so not quite as fast but not bad none the less. You need to have credits for all assets for which you don't possess the IP rights or a license allowing you to use them without credit. I like the music, its .... happy in a sort of cotton candy way. Though the 'gameplay' is very.... limited, interestingly there probably are things that you could do with this to flesh it out more (only able to feed the bird when food is over it - food flys past) certain 'not food' things make you loose score. Bird gets fatter with more points. Win by exploding bird? Mr creosote bird? This did however make me laugh and technically does what was requested. Consider making things like this run in windowed mode so that its easy to exit.

Was this a last moment panic mistake to upload the week 1 game instead of week 2?

you need to do it in the contributors tab as otherwise they wont be able to vote on itch in the jam.

This for-fills all the key game play requirements. Well done. And its early. You haven't added all of your team as contributors though i think?

lol

Your UP number should be part of the title, see email. This is quite fun once you realise that 'space' is the control! Also there is no way to exit from within the game (honestly i wouldn't count exit as a game control - maybe i need to mention that next time)! With some sound a graphical polish i can see this as an interesting thing. Consider a more... marketing... type image for future submissions. Also several days early, well done.

Your UP number should also be part of the game title (see the email). I like the idea, however the score, multiplier and lives do not seem to increment? However good effort and several days early.

very thorough - well done for week 2 this is quite good.

I like the sound and this is most certainly a platformer - controls are a bit awkward if you're not left handed. You might want to consider control binding in terms of UX for future games.

aaaah the line green mankinie really sets of my eyes don't you think ;)

Does not scroll - also very slow?

I think you might mean prize maybe - unless this has some sort machine bricking bug at the end?

seems to be some sort of bug a few others have had random things happening with their uploads
